My DAD My HERO!
This Business is DEDICATED to my FATHER who was my HERO! “His Courage, Resilience, and Integrity STILL INSPIRE ME EVERY DAY!”
Francis R. Mutton was born on February 15, 1923, and grew up during the Great Depression - an era that FORGED in him a Character of IRON: Determined, Disciplined, Creative, and Deeply Caring.
When his country called, Francis answered. He served as a bombardier on a B-24 Liberator during World War II, flying combat missions over enemy territory. He was captured and spent nine months as a prisoner of war in Stalag Luft III - the very camp made famous by the Great Escape.
He came home, raised a family, and lived every day with the quiet dignity of a man who had already proven himself under fire. He passed on May 28, 2020, at the age of 97. I proudly served as his full-time caretaker for the last 18 months of his life.
Every QuickStrip sold carries his legacy. When you support this veteran-owned business, you honor a generation that gave everything.
Meet the Founder
I’m Gary Mutton, founder of QuickStrip and a proud six-year United States Marine Corps veteran (1971 - 1977). I completed basic training at MCRD Parris Island. My MOS was 6648, and I specialized as an electronics technician working on the advanced A-6E search radar systems. That work taught me the importance of precision, reliability, and innovation - values I’ve carried into every aspect of my business.
Veteran-Owned, Built for Excellence: QuickStrip is a reflection of the discipline, technical skill, and commitment to quality I learned in the Marine Corps. Thank you for supporting a veteran-owned business. When you choose QuickStrip, you’re choosing a legacy of service, innovation, and integrity.
