QuickStrip Privacy Policy Effective date: October 21, 2026
QuickStrip is sold by Hytech Marketing LLC, a veteran-owned (USMC) small business in Cleveland, Georgia ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect when you visit www.quickstrip.info, buy a QuickStrip, or get in touch with us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you place an order: your name, shipping address, billing address, email address, phone number (if you enter one at checkout), what you bought, and how you want it shipped. We do not see or store your full credit or debit card number. See "Payments" below.
When you use our contact form or email us: your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message.
When you buy from us in person at a show: we use a card reader (such as Square) to take card payments. It collects only what it needs to process your payment, plus your email or phone number if you ask for a receipt.
Automatically when you browse: like most websites, our site (hosted by Squarespace) collects basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. This is done with cookies and similar tools. See "Cookies and site tools" below.
How we use it
To process, ship, and track your order (we buy USPS postage through Pirate Ship, so your name and shipping address go to Pirate Ship and USPS).
To email you about your order, such as order confirmations, tracking numbers, and returns.
To answer your questions and handle money-back guarantee requests.
To understand how people use the site so we can improve it.
To keep records we're required to keep, such as tax and accounting records, and to prevent fraud.
Payments
Payments are handled by our payment processors, not by us: Squarespace Payments/Stripe and PayPal. These companies receive your payment details directly and handle them under their own privacy policies. We receive only what we need to fulfill the order, such as your name, address, the amount paid, and the last four digits of your card.
Cookies and site tools
Our site uses cookies, which are small files stored by your browser. Squarespace uses them to run the site and shopping cart and to give us basic visitor statistics. We also use Google Search Console and Google Merchant Center to understand how our site appears in Google Search and to list our products on Google. Google handles any information it collects under Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but the shopping cart may not.
Social sharing: the site may show sharing buttons, such as Pinterest. If you click one, that company may collect information under its own policy.
Amazon affiliate links
Some pages link to related products on Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. If you click one of those links, Amazon may set cookies to track the referral. What you buy on Amazon is covered by Amazon's privacy policy, not ours.
We don't sell your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the store: Squarespace (website and checkout), our payment processors, Pirate Ship and USPS (shipping), Google (email and site tools), and our accountant or tax preparer, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as we need them for shipping, returns, warranty questions, and tax and accounting purposes, which is generally several years. We keep contact-form messages as long as they're useful for helping you.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you. Just email us. We'll honor your request unless we have to keep certain records by law, such as tax records. Residents of some states, including California, have additional privacy rights, and we'll honor those as required.
Children
Our site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We use reputable providers (Squarespace, Stripe, PayPal, Google) that protect your data with industry-standard security. No website is 100% secure, but we never store full card numbers.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date.
